⚠️ Antivirus false-positive notice

WordShield reads text input controls (the same family of behaviour as input-method and keystroke tools), and the installer is not code-signed yet, so some antivirus products (e.g. 360) flag it heuristically as a trojan/risk. This is a false positive: WordShield makes zero network calls — block it in your firewall and every feature still works. Nothing is ever transmitted off your PC.

ChatGPT only remembers conversations inside its own web app - and they are hard to find and easy to lose. WordShield saves each prompt to a local database on your own PC the moment you type it, covering ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek, WPS AI, VS Code Copilot, Cursor and more, searchable by keyword / source app / date.
No. Data lives only in a local SQLite file on your PC (%APPDATA%/WordShield/data/). There is no server to talk to - block this exe in your firewall and every feature still works. No telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting.
No. It uses the Windows UI Automation IsPassword property to detect password fields, plus a second content-level filter. Nothing typed into a password box is ever stored.
No. Chat apps (WeChat, QQ, DingTalk, Lark, Slack, Discord, Teams and 29 in total), office apps (Word, Excel and 20 in total) and privacy-sensitive apps (password managers, remote desktop, terminals - 25 in total) are excluded by default: 74 apps in all. Your private conversations are never captured. You can enable any app manually in Settings if you actually want to.
The free tier shows your latest 100 prompts. Older ones are folded out of view but never deleted - they stay in the local database, and upgrading makes them all visible instantly. This product sells "never lose an AI prompt"; deleting user data to force upgrades would destroy its own value.
Because the binary is not code-signed yet (an OV certificate costs roughly 2000-4000 CNY/year). Click "More info" then "Run anyway" - it only appears once per machine.
